Demand & Inventory Planner

The Demand Planner contributes by optimally serving regional demand and enabling profitable sales growth across markets and channels. The role will provide input to regional demand planning, based on a supply perspective.Possess strong problem solving skills and are solution driven.
This position is based in Singapore and reports to Operations Manager.
**Core Responsibilities includes but is not limited to**:
**Demand/Forecast (60%)**
- Work with **Sales** to ensure that their market and customer knowledge and plans are reflected in the **forecast** & determine future sales objectives.
- Constantly Validate **Sales forecast** from territory and understand drivers for demand or supply changes.
- Closely works with internal stakeholders and external service providers,3PL, factories, to ensure the knowledge is incorporated into the forecasting & inventory model.
- Monitors and optimizes all relevant processes to meet our demand/forecast/inventory targets. **Negotiate cost** and **lead time** with approved suppliers.
- Coordinate with US and local factory to plan DOA of the products.
**Warehouse/3PL/ Inventory Management (20%)**
- Manage warehouse /3PL to make sure we have sufficient space & good condition for inventory with regular audits.
- Define **target stock** for different product group/items level in alignment with global policy. Reviewing **product mix** to ensure that **sufficient inventory** is available to meet sales goals and customer fulfillment. Verify and communicate on stock availability against sales orders. Advise and allocate stock availability to the sales team based on sales order ship date.
- Discontinued (EOL) and OBS planning and execution with close communication with Product Manager and global production team to determine inventory strategy.
- **Management of SKUs level towards company's direction**:
- Provide analytical information for management to review and understand inventory movement and situations.
**Managing Team (10%)**
- Coordinating inbound and outbound shipment with Logistics Coordinator and Warehouse. Work with logistics to ensure on-time fulfil external customer’s order.
- Train & guide logistic coordinator.
- Oversees the daily workflow/process improvement and schedules of the department.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
**Project Management (10%)**
- Manage and coordinate assigned multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget.
**Requirements**:
- Min. Diploma in Business, Operations Management or Supply Chain Management or equivalent. Logistic knowledge for global shipping and last mile delivery.
- Possess at least 3-5 years' experience in inventory planning/demand planning for finished goods.Start-up experience will be added advantage
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills : Ability to analyse, draw conclusions, and recommend appropriate actions in response to data
Business oriented, paying attention to details and result driven.
Advanced Excel capabilities
Salesforce or epicor (E10) ERP system experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal & communication skillsAble to work across functional areas and levels of the organization
Strong verbal and written communication: ability to simplify, synthesize and convince
Listens well to others (empathy), client-centric (commercial mindset)

**Salary**: Up to $5,000.00 per month
