We have an outstanding opportunity for a **Director of Solution Architecture**to lead the strategic development of solutions under **Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) for sea, land, and air, ICCCTV, Command & Control Centers (C3), Smart Cities, and Facility Management systems**. **Role Profile**:
As the **Director of Solution Architecture**, you will **lead the design, development, and sales strategy** of engineering solutions. Your primary focus will be on **driving solution sales and pre-sales architecture**, ensuring cost-effective, scalable, and technically robust solutions that meet customer requirements.

You will work closely with the **sales, business development, and engineering teams**, providing **technical leadership in customer engagements**, leading **bid management**, and optimizing solutions to **maximize competitiveness**. Additionally, you will ensure smooth **handoffs from pre-sales to solution delivery** when required, ensuring high-quality execution.

This role requires **a unique blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership** to drive business growth and establish the company as an industry leader.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Solution Architecture & Pre-Sales Leadership**:

- Own and drive **solution development strategy** for **Intelligent Transport,**ensuring alignment with customer needs, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Act as the **primary technical authority** during pre-sales engagements, leading solution design and technical discussions with customers.
- Develop **innovative, scalable, and cost-effective solutions** for **ITS (sea, land, air), ICCCTV, C3, Smart Cities, and Facility Management systems**.
- Ensure seamless **integration of technologies across IT infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, IoT frameworks, and AI-driven automation**.
- Lead the creation of **technical proposals, architecture blueprints, and system designs** that align with industry standards and compliance regulations.

**2. Solution Sales & Business Development Support**:

- Partner with **sales and business development teams** to craft compelling value propositions that differentiate the company’s offerings.
- Lead **customer presentations, proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations, and technical workshops** to drive solution sales.
- Engage in **strategic customer interactions** to understand pain points, future growth plans, and technology needs.
- Work closely with **customers, regulators, and partners** to shape and influence solution adoption.
- Support bid management, **RFP/RFI responses**, and commercial structuring of deals.

**3. Cost Optimization & Competitive Positioning**:

- Oversee **cost consolidation and pricing strategies** to ensure solutions are **both commercially viable and technically superior**.
- Optimize **bill of materials (BOM), deployment models, and total cost of ownership (TCO)** for customers.
- Collaborate with **procurement, finance, and vendor management teams** to negotiate competitive pricing and solution offerings.

**4. Solution Delivery Oversight (If Required)**:

- Ensure **seamless transition from solution sales to project execution**, providing high-level guidance during the implementation phase.
- Work with **project management and engineering teams** to resolve escalations and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Establish **quality assurance frameworks** to ensure adherence to customer expectations and technical specifications.

**5. Leadership & Competency Building**:

- Build and **mentor a high-performing team** of solution architects, engineers, and technical specialists.
- Develop training programs to enhance **pre-sales, technical sales, and solution design** capabilities.
