**Key Responsibilities**:
**Architectural Leadership**:Provide strategic direction and architectural leadership in the design, development, and implementation of video analytics and AI solutions. Define architectural principles, standards, and best practices to guide the evolution of our video processing architecture.
**Pre-Sales Support**: Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to support pre-sales activities, including customer consultations, solution presentations, and proposal development. Leverage your technical expertise to understand customer requirements, identify business opportunities, and architect tailored video analytics solutions that address customer needs.
**Solution Design and Development**: Lead the design and development of complex video analytics architectures, encompassing video data ingestion, processing, storage, and AI-based analysis. Utilize your deep technical knowledge to design scalable, high-performance, and resilient video processing solutions.
**Technology Evaluation and innovation**: Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and vendor offerings in the video analytics and AI space. Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation through the adoption of new technologies, architectures, and deployment models.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, product management, operations, and business development, to align technical solutions with business requirements. Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
**Vendor Management and Partnerships**: Manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and suppliers to assess product offerings, negotiate contracts, and drive strategic partnerships. Influence vendor roadmaps and product development to meet the evolving needs of our video analytics infrastructure.
**Capacity Planning and Performance Optimization**: Lead capacity planning efforts to forecast video data growth and ensure adequate resources are provisioned to meet demand. Implement performance optimization strategies to enhance processing efficiency, reliability, and quality of service (QoS).
**Technical Governance and Quality Assurance**: Establish technical governance processes and frameworks to ensure the integrity, security, and reliability of video analytics solutions. Conduct architectural reviews, code inspections, and quality assurance activities to uphold architectural standards and mitigate risks.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a technical leadership role within the video analytics or AI industry.
Proven track record of designing and implementing video analytics architectures for large-scale deployments.
- Expertise in video processing technologies, protocols, and standards, including video encoding, AI-based video analysis, and cloud-native video processing.
- Strong proficiency in video analytics design and modeling tools.
- A team player with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong verbal communication (including presentation) and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to engage with senior management stakeholders, articulate technical vision and strategy, and influence decision-making processes effectively.
- Relevant certifications and publications in industry journals or conferences are highly desirable.
