Singapore PAPE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. Full time

To support PAPE Engineering projects, we are looking for an experienced naval architect to lead the team in charge of naval architecture activities for the loadout, transportation, and installation of offshore platforms (jacket, topside) for our various clients (EPIC Contractors, Offshore Installation Contractors, Oil Majors).

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform and supervise Naval Architects for transportation engineering (barge stability, longitudinal strength, seakeeping analyses, bollard pull) and installation engineering of offshore structures (jacket launches/upending/dynamic lifting, topsides mating analyses, ballast procedures, mooring analyses).
- Write and/or review engineering reports, specifications and installation procedures.
- Direct drafters for drawing issuance.
- Develop Cost-Time Resource (CTRs) and Master Deliverables Register (MDR) and furnish progress reports (including concerns) for the project/department/management.
- Handle Marine Warranty Surveyor and Client approval.
- Prepare Tender and Bids studies (vessel suitability checks, basic procedures and installation method statement, MTOs)
- Assist the Business Unit Manager upon requirement.
- Support to yard loadout and offshore operations when required by Clients.

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Master in Naval Architecture/ Marine Engineering/ Ocean Engineering.
- Good knowledge of hydrodynamics and marine analyses.
- Relevant experience in following marine operations engineering studies: transportation engineering (seakeeping, sea fastening). Jacket installation (lifting analysis, upending analysis, launch trajectory analysis), floater mooring analysis, topside float-over installation, dynamic lifting analyses.
- At least 10 years of working experience as a naval architect in the offshore platforms marine operations (Transportation and installation) sector, including a minimum of 2 years in a Lead position.

Software Skills
- Maxsurf / GHS (Floater Stability/Longitudinal Strength)
- Moses / AQWA /SACS Marine or equivalent upending/launch/mating/dynamic lifting)
- Ariane / OPTIMOOR / GMOOR (mooring)
- SESAM / HYDROSTAR or equivalent (motions/seakeeping)
