Naval Architect (Marine Architect)
Responsibilities:
  1. Good in handling Navy Architect / Marine Architect.
  2. Finite Element Analysis and Vibration
    1. Able to work independently utilizing ANSYS to carry out accurate modeling and analysis of vessel structures
    2. Global Analysis of ship structure
    3. Hydrodynamic loading
    4. Refine model and provide suggestions on how to optimize the design for weight savings.
  3. Structural Design and Modelling
    1. Have a good fundamental knowledge of structural design and calculations in order to streamline design
    2. Conceptualize ship and deck structure drawings and carry out calculations
    3. Able to do 3D modeling in Aveva Marine software.

Requirements:
  1. Minimum Degree in Naval Architecture / Marine / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University, or equivalent
  2. Be part of a team of engineers to carry out structural design and calculations
  3. Technical experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Vibration studies and analysis, and able to do modeling and run simulations of the same.
  4. Strong knowledge of international design codes, Classification and Statutory Rules and Regulations
  5. High proficiency in 3D modeling skills using 3D CAD software will be an advantage.
  6. At least 5 years of experience in Naval Architect.
