The Specialised Products team uses their critical mass of knowledge and expertise to provide a seamless end-to-end broking service throughout the supply chain. Working together they maximise our clients leverage, creating a competitive advantage for shipping procurement strategies, supported by market-leading strategic and analytical verification and validation.

**Role Summary**

The main purpose of an Operations Executive is to support the Specialised Products Department’s brokers. Your role requires operational and administrative services, working closely with the Charterers/Owners and Brokers to ensure timely facilitation of information and entering fixtures/ transactions onto the relevant in-house system.

Ideally, you will have at least 5-10 years’ Specialised Products operations experience and possess team spirit.

**What you will be doing**
- Monitoring vessel movement to ensure smooth operational process
- Liaising with Charterers/Owners and Brokers to ensure timely facilitation of information
- Learning and understanding shipping documents, laytime terms and statements
- Understanding of typical Specialised Products charter parties, contracts, demurrage/claims calculations
- Consult our Brokers in anticipation of possible operational matters
- Offering advice and guidance to clients to resolve and avoid disputes Other ad-hoc operations duties as and when assigned

**What we are looking for**

**Key Attributes**
- Minimum 3-5 years’ working experience in Specialised Products operations with a shipping company
- Excellent written and oral English language skills
- Good telephone manner and strong communication skills are essential
- Mature, meticulous & well-organised
- Hands-on with a positive attitude
- Strong team player and able to work independently
- Flexibility in the workplace, including the willingness to work outside regular office hours
