**Assistant Vice President - Global Markets**

As a Barclay’s Credit Sales, you will have opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders to support our Credit business. You will be assisting with the day to day functions of the sales team, and train towards having a full sales remit, with direct client coverage. We are responsible for covering some of Asia Credit business’s largest clients based in Asia on Global credit products. These clients range from sovereign wealth funds, to asset managers, hedge funds and private banks.

**What will you be doing?**
- Being the salesperson covering Asia (Singapore & Hong Kong) real money and hedge fund clients
- Working with Barclays’ flow credit traders and structured credit trader, as well as our structurers smoothly
- Exploring and capturing opportunities across both flow and non-flow space
- Connecting with Barclays’ traders outside of Asia to deliver our global franchise to clients, apart from selling Asia products
- Collaborating with Trading, Syndicate, Strategy, and Research to facilitate the buying/selling of Credit products with clients
- Interacting with internal and external stakeholders, including Credit trading desk, clients of the firm, and various operational functions which keep the business going day to day

**What we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics
- Familiar with real money and hedge fund clients, and familiarity with the Credit Trading business and Credit products
- Experience with documentation associated with basic Credit Trade
- Understanding of the Credit Sales and Trading lifecycle

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Competitive and confident with the ability to build and foster relationships
- Ability to make strategic decisions and excellent problem solving skills
- Familiarity with Credit Transactions
- Able to think globally and connect with our traders outside of Asia to deliver our global franchise to clients
