This role has a 30% component Investor Relations and 70% Controllership, with the Investor Relations component reporting to our Director of Investor Relations, Rob Lahey and the Controllership component reporting to our Corporate Controller, Lai Ping Wong, Join us in POWERING POSITIVE CHANGE
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Supports the Group’s quarterly earnings process and calendar schedules.
Ownership of fact-checking process to ensure accuracy and completeness of facts and figures presented in earnings documents to be released to SEC and analysts’ community.
Research accounting standards for complex business issues to support business decisions.
Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and documentation for SEC filings and investors/analysts’ presentations.
Research SEC matters and accounting issues to ensure GAAP and SEC compliance and provides periodic updates to management.
Supports Controllership implementation of Global Statutory Reporting initiative, including stream-lining existing process for efficiencies.
Provides on-going information to executive management team regarding investor feedback, perceptions, and opinions.
Obtain competitive intelligence from equity research positions and summaries, relative stock price positions and periodic ownership analysis.
Schedule earnings calls and post earnings calls with analysts, including all related logistics arrangements.
Refresh daily MAXN trading report.
Summarize post earnings analyst rating, estimate changes and maintain consensus estimates file as well as periodic trading comp. reports.
Perform other Controllership-related and investor relations matters and projects as assigned. Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Quality standards, rules and regulations
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of BS Accountancy and a CPA
At least 6-10 years of experience in Accounting in a multi-national environment
US GAAP and IFRS accounting knowledge
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
Able to handle multiple projects with the ability to budget time productively
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Can work well at different levels of the organization
Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
