**PURPOSE**:

- Establish and maintain a prominent profile with clients/intermediaries
- Develop new and existing sales opportunities to meet growth targets
- Ensure risks are accepted and underwritten in accordance with the Company’s Risk Management and Reinsurance guidelines
- Undertake credit control ensuring the standard for debtor days are strictly adhered to
- Provide a technical reference point for queries
- Carry out quality assurance checks and assist in training of less experienced staff
- Ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness in work processes within the department
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned

**CONTEXT**:

- Contribute to the growth and profit objectives of the Marine Class
- Develop and service new and existing intermediaries/business partners/customers
- Support promotion and ongoing support of Cargo E-link installations with intermediaries

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- GCE ‘O’ level
- Minimum Certificate in General Insurance

**SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE**:

- Technical knowledge in Marine underwriting
- Good Presentation, Communication and Negotiation skills
- Knowledge in Polisy 400 and GenLink systems
- Relationship building

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Operational experience in sales and servicing of marine business through insurance brokers
