Further information is available at LinkedIn , Twitter , and Instagram Business Unit: Private Equity Portfolio Operations Job Title: eSourcing Specialist Location: Singapore Job Description and Responsibilities: - Responsible for developing, managing, monitoring complex eSourcing projects by coordinating resources and communication with the portfolio companies- Lead team conference calls and project meetings- Communicate project timeline and key actions- Lead and support RFQ development and strategy- Ensure the project team follows strict operational procedures and works on continuous process improvement- Provide results of the pre-bid and post bid stages of the project- Send the details and results of each completed project to the team members and their Procurement Business Leaders through an executive summary- Create and manage the list of supplier's contacts for each assigned sourcing project.- Communicate with all suppliers invited to the assigned event and organize portfolio company support as needed- Manage outbound project interest calls and RFQ update calls. Must "sell" the project to the invited supply base- Capture and report to the project team information such as supplier interest and supplier capabilities- Gather feedback and re-align eSourcing strategy, as needed- Identify additional eSourcing opportunities through direct contact with the portfolio companies Qualifications: Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.- Fluent in verbal and written English required- - Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement/sourcing position or customer service position- - Customer service oriented and a strong communicator- A strong team player that is a self-starter, innovative, and confident- Flexible, able to work on own initiative, deal with more than one project at a time, can work under pressure and tight deadlines and prioritize tasks accordingly- Ariba eSourcing or other eSourcing software experience a plus- Must be willing to work between 3pm - 11pm SGT - All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, national origin or any other category protected by law._ The duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position.
