Key job responsibilities
As the APJ Customer Programs & Deals Lead, you will serve the AWS Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) sales organization and have the crucial role overseeing funding programs available to our customers in their cloud adoption journey. Your primary responsibility of managing end-to-end customer funding programs will include program creation and execution, enablement and communications, and leadership of major sales deal reviews. As part of a broader sales strategy and engagement team for APJ, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to other high-impact initiatives that help the front line drive sales pipeline and revenue.

This role will engage with key internal individuals focused on driving AWS sales across the region, including Account Managers, Segment Program Managers, Service Specialists, and Commercial Finance. As a result, your customer obsession will be critical in successfully managing stakeholder engagement, identifying and implementing continuous improvement towards existing processes, and executing new strategic initiatives upon stakeholder feedback and sales data. This role will manage a headcount and will therefore require the capability to lead by example and lean-in when necessary.

- Experience executing sales program initiatives to achieve commercial goals
- Experience managing and influencing multiple headcount directly and indirectly
- Knowledge of existing and developing technologies and cloud computing
