EHS Executive

**Roles and Responsibilities:
**(A) **Key Expectations**:
1) Identify and evaluate the workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments and recommend control measures for all work equipment and operations;
2) Attend WSH Committee and Fire Safety Committee meetings, regular EHS related inspections of the work sites (for Projects); and ensure all mandatory EHS requirements by clients are in full compliance;
3) Maintain compliance with SCDF Fire Safety Act and related Regulations, and ensure all the fire risks are eliminated timely to maintain relevant SCDF Fire Certificates, Licenses and Permits (when applicable); and provide strong support to the appointed Fire Safety committee, and CERT organization of the company;
4) Develop, Implement and maintenance of WSH documentation as per customers’ expectations; and meeting the company’s Quality & OSH management System (ISO 9001 & ISO 45001) & biz-SAFE and other relevant certifications;
5) Participate in relevant training, and support the internal and external WSH related audits to sustain the applicable ISO certifications & other local WSH accreditations when applicable;

**(B) **Essential Requirements**

1) Conduct WSH orientations to all new workers (including sub-con workers) at the jobs’ sites when required or requested; lead and conduct daily toolbox meeting (TBM), coordinate and ensure all relevant PTW (Permit-to-Work); and it’s supporting documents are completed and approved; before jobs are allowed to commence; submit all related checklists as per clients’ requests.

2) Conduct routine EHS & Fire Safety inspection, lookout for any unsafe behaviour, work condition or equipment; be proactive on WSH and Environmental Protection matters. Ensure all workers (ALL who are present at job-site), are doing the tasks according to Safe Work Procedures / agreed Methos of Statement. Timely intervene any unsafe act, and issue STOP work instructions when situation requires.

3) Work with other EHS competence persons, to develop, review, update and implementation of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures conforming to EHS related regulations.

4) When applicable, Investigate and report all accidents, incidents, and dangerous occurrences with corrective actions (both CA & PA), on safety lapse/s to ensure improvements and compliance with legal regulations and WSH requirements.

5) Ensure the work environment maintains good housekeeping during the job execution period, to minimize WSH risks and hazards; do not accept the closure of PTW if the housekeeping was not properly completed.

6) Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by direct supervisor(s); and site leadership team members.

**Qualification and Requirements**:
1. At least a Professional Certificate/NITEC/Degree or Diploma in related Engineering fields or (Environmental/Health/Safety), applied science or equivalent.

2. Specialist Diploma in WSH (Level-C) by accredited training centre, or equivalent, and completed WSHO registration with MOM-OSHD.

3. Excellent team player with good communication and strong people’s skills, with demonstrated evidences.

4. Relevant WSQ certificates in Workplace Safety & Health (e.g., Work at Height safety assessor, Confined Space Safety assessor, lifting supervisor, Building & Construction Safety Supervisor, Project Management Safety related, or equivalent); will be advantageous.

5. Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Electrical Systems related production or in semi-conductors / wafer fabrication manufacturing industry will be advantageous.

6. MS Office skills related to MS-RA docs., EHS training materials preparations; and EHS related reports writing.

7. Possess own transport (will be advantageous), as there could be requirements to travel between the factories assigned to; and as per clients’ requirements.
