Responsibilities Support projects and the department to ensure compliance with EHS regulations, policies, and standards. Stay updated on changes to safety regulations and industry best practices, and implement improvements accordingly. Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Plan, execute, and report on safety management system (EHSMS) audits. Partner with operations and EHS teams to develop policies and procedures tailored to operational needs. Organize and conduct EHS inspections for assigned projects. Drive compliance with EHSMS requirements across assigned projects. Participate in investigations of EHS-related incidents and prepare reports with recommendations for corrective action. Prepare reports and presentations on safety performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Undertake key departmental duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager (EHS) / Manager (EHS). Requirements Diploma/Degree in EHS or Engineering-related fields. Minimum 3 years of experience in an EHS role. Possession of Hotwork Assessor and Confined Space Assessor Certifications will be an added advantage. Strong understanding of the Workplace Safety & Health Act and Shipbuilding & Ship Repairs regulations. Skilled in report writing, incident investigation, and analytical assessments. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage others.
