EHS Officer/ Executive

**Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Identify potential hazards and risks, and develop corrective action plans to mitigate them.
- Conduct EHS training sessions and workshops for employees to promote awareness and understanding of safety protocols.
- Ensure that all employees are adequately trained on emergency response procedures, safe work practices, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Lead investigations into workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Prepare and submit accurate incident reports and documentation as required by regulatory authorities.
- Oversee the management and safe handling of hazardous substances in compliance with the Management of Hazardous Substance (MHS) course requirements.
- Ensure that the company is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to demonstrate compliance during audits and inspections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in EHS processes and practices. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the safety culture within the organization.
**Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or in any engineering field.
- At least 2 year of relevant safety coordinator / WSH / EHS experience in the chemical / manufacturing industry.
- Possess a Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) certification and be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
- Completed the Management of Hazardous Substance (MHS) course. Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
