The Business Control Senior Analyst is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team. **Responsibilities**: - Independently asses risks and drive actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices. - Governance and oversight may include (not limited to) operational risk, for example. - Looks for ways to improve the current process and share best practices with senior leadership. - Participates in senior leadership meetings to analyze documentation and processes to ensure risks and control points are properly addressed. - Assists senior level management in gathering data and information for executive level reporting and to take ownership of specified projects and tasks. - Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. - Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. - Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. - Analyzes diverse and high volume data; articulating the results of analysis along with providing suggestions to resolve an issue or improve a process. - Researches system and process issues, identifying solutions and communicating procedure exceptions to business partners. - Cob Management for SSO Singapore as Lead BRC - L2 AML & Sanctions Screening - Independent party to conduct Vault count - Coordination for various reporting for APAC including resolution planning - Governance & Oversight to all outsource service providers. - Reports metrics and status reports to internal clients. - Effectively communicate with team members, management and business partners - Participate in and/or lead projects as assigned **Qualifications**: - 5-8 years of relevant experience in Custody (experience in the financial services sector a plus) - Minimum 1 year of Operational Leadership Experience including delivering in a high-volume, goal-based production/operations-based environment **Education**: - Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience - **Job Family Group**: Risk Management - **Job Family**: Operational Risk - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
