**Background**:
**JSC Novatek **is the largest private owned gas company in Russia. Today it is the major shareholder of Yamal LNG project, Arctic LNG 2 and also is a shareholder and offtaker of the small-scale LNG plant in Vysotsk. The LNG production is expected to grow rapidly with upcoming LNG projects.

**Novatek Gas and Power Asia Pte. Ltd **. is the trading company for JSC Novatek’s LNG with fast growing LNG volume to trade and deliver that is looking at expand its business in Asia.

**Novatek Gas and Power Asia Pte. Ltd. **opens a position of **Senior Business Controller (based in Singapore) **to join our Finance team.

**Main responsibilities:
- To supervise team of 2 business controllers;
- To manage revenue and related expense reporting for the company;
- To prepare comparative analysis and commentary to department heads and Finance team;
- To perform financial analysis, develop financial planning processes and design and implement overall business plans;
- To oversee the execution of the company budget;
- To perform regular financial analysis, sales forecasting, analysing a company's sales and overall performance, and managing financial data.

**Control Measures:
- Determine and verify systems and process all data. Maintain control environment for all issues;
- Perform the control and verification of LNG, natural gas, liquid hydrocarbons, shipping & freight and hedging operations trade deals;
- Support the enhancement and compliance of Business Finance processes, standards and systems;
- Prepare quarterly Internal Control forms.

**Finance analysis and reporting:
- Manage & Support all departments’ revenue
- and expense-reporting, ensuring control, accuracy, predictability and timely delivery of figures, analysis and comments;
- Ensure all local, regional and corporate reporting for department is completed accurately and on-time as directed;
- Support department in pursuit of financial targets through in-depth analysis and sharing of financial knowledge;
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts;
- Coordinate with external auditors and departments for annual and special audits and ensure follow-up on outstanding issues raised from auditors’ findings.

**Budgeting:
- Prepare budgets and outline important budgeting schedules throughout an organization;
- Maintain the annual budget, monitor variances, summarize trends and investigate budget deficiencies;
- Report material budgeting variances or expenditure variances to management;
- Compile annual Budget to Group.

**Requirements:
- University degree in finance or economic field;
- 10+ years of total experience in finance;
- Experience in consulting will be advantage
- 5+ years of experience as business controller / finance analyst / or auditor (internal or external auditor);
- Excel advanced level;
- Accurate, capable to work under pressure and meet tough deadlines;
- Strong communication skills;
- Fluent English is a must for day-to-day business communication. Fluent Russian would be important for day-to-day communication with HQ Finance.
