As part of our expansion for the Southeast Asia team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Health Ops Consultant to boost the bench strength of the Health Team. You will be based in Singapore and will report to the Head of Health.

**Your role**:

- You will support In-Force Health clients by offering value-add services on their claims management processes, to improve their profitability and help grow the RI health book for SEA region. In particular by providing:

- On-site, detailed, TPA audits, or audits of clients’ own claims management processes, and investigations into providers’ processes;
- Investigations into fraud, waste and abuse in all three of the partners i.e. policyholders, providers and payers;
- Support on managing real-time inpatient claims, including advice on pre-authorization protocols;
- Benchmarking on providers’ and TPAs’ fees, against marketplace averages;
- Consultations and advice on better ways to manage claims including advice on claims guidelines, network selection and management, primary care protocols
- You will advise on, and support, the implementation of new solutions for clients in better claims management processes. This would include defining the execution model of such solutions including resources, expertise, products, digital / technology tools, and execution strategy.
- You will build and maintain relationships within the healthcare ecosystem;
- You will provide inputs into product design, being mindful to cost containment.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, medicine or business administration, or similar qualification.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in client management and business development including managing health insurance, health claims or reinsurance business, preferably in SEA region.
- Excellent expertise and track-record in working across the full value-chain of health insurance - in particular health insurance operations including medical and claims cost containment, and growth strategies, product delivery, risk selection & risk management practices.
- Ideally experience working within a TPA or equivalent, providing familiarity with their typical processes;
- Knowledge of healthcare industry, health insurance data assets and its management, health insurance risk, technology, and new trends in health insurance industry.
- Sound experience in understanding and working with complex and multi-cultural environments.
- Strong representational and client management skills, especially in unstructured and complex environments, and with clients of different cultures.
- Competent in data analysis and handling large volumes of data, ideally in SQL or equivalent. Good grasp of Excel and strong numerical ability.
- Excellent skills in client management including building sustainable and strong relationship in challenging and adverse working conditions.
