**Position Summary**:
This position is in a fast-paced collaborative environment where effective communication, personal initiative, and a solution-orientated drive are essential. Understanding of product development, product lifecycle and an ability to build strong relationships across all departments are a must. The ability to clearly and effectively communicate (and modulate the level of detail appropriately for the level) is a key to success for this role. Familiarity with Design Control is highly preferred. This position will also support building out the Corporate PMO PPM tools, templates, standardizing tools and reporting.

**Key Job Responsibilities**
- Lead teams through large and complex product development and operational planning projects from scope through launch and operations for the Life Sciences market
- Knowledge of SomaLogic’s Life Science commercial products, plans, infrastructure, and deep understanding of internal operations and capabilities to drive efficient solutions to meet near-term and on the horizon objectives
- Drive, manage, and influence stakeholders to execute to achieve project deliverables on schedule, across multiple active and interdependent projects
- Generate and maintain executable project plans, product development design control documentation, and support success through project phase gate reviews
- Responsible for ensuring alignment and tracking against Life Sciences’ program schedule, including multiple concurrent and dependent project schedules
- Assess requirements of projects and drive operational decisions to achieve success
- Obtain, motivate and sustain team alignment and commitment to project goals, plans, responsibilities, deliverables, and schedule
- Proactively identify, raise, and manage project issues and risks
- Lead transparent cross-functional communications, with advanced level of facilitation and presentations skills
- Identify and routinely report key project metrics throughout the organization
- Support development of standard project and program management processes and tools as well as executive reporting of project(s) status, risks, issues, and needs
- Facilitate an environment of inclusion that leverages diverse perspectives and talent to drive solution-oriented discussions
- Communicate business objectives and how they align with the team’s work
- Demonstrate a high level of dedication and proactive leadership in leading teams to achieve corporate goals and program objectives
- Effectively lead team meetings by facilitating discussions, managing agendas, tracking and closure of action items, and issuing summary communications in a timely manner
- Conduct project post-mortems to drive continuous process improvement initiatives

**Skills & Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a clinical, life science, regulatory science, or related field
- Project or Program Management certification or coursework desired

**Skills and experience**:

- Minimum 6 years of program/project management experience, with at least 2 years product development experience with Research Use Only (RUO), Laboratory Test Development (LDT), In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) products, or in an equivalent market or regulated industry
- Program Management experience in a Life Sciences industry preferred
- Strong facilitation, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills capable to lead cross-functional teams through complex product development and operational projects
- Ability to translate business requirements into project plans and schedules
- Experienced with product development design control requirements
- Proven aptitude to identify problems and creatively determine business solutions
- Adapts to dynamic situations
- Strong organizational skills, as well as the flexibility to manage multiple priorities amongst dynamic and competing initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to form strong partnerships with stakeholders
- Proficient in project management planning and software
- High-energy and demonstrated ability to foster positive and high-performance teams

**Work Environment**:
This role is remote. Extended keyboarding time is required. Minimal domestic or international, less than 5% of time, may be required for regional, corporate, or customer meetings.
