Customer Development Associate, E-Commerce
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage the allocated Trade Fund to achieve the Net Sales Target set out for customers for the year through effective business planning and identifying growth pillars.
- Manage company’s relationship with assigned e-commerce customers with an emphasis on developing new business opportunities. Establish strategic, cross-functional relationships and regular dialogue with key stakeholders. Responsibilities also cover day-to-day operational aspects to ensure business continuity by being first point of contact with e-tailers.
- Develop and implement customers’ business plans in alignment with the company strategic sales, marketing and trade category plans. Engage with key retailer stakeholders on executing business strategy, conduct regular business reviews & joint business planning sessions to deliver growth, sales target and achieve key e-commerce metrics (GMV, shopper/basket penetration, conversion rate, average order value, new/existing customer growth, market/category share etc). Coordinate with Trade Marketing/ Marketing on integrating brand plans with customer sales campaigns to maximise synergistic efforts. Responsible for developing and leading both internal and external business presentations.
- Initiate, develop, execute and evaluate account-specific promotion strategies and activities with assigned customers according to annual sales, marketing, category, and innovation plans. To drive consistent sales uplift via BAU online activations and maximize GMV achievement via A+ / mega campaign planning and execution.
- Conduct regular ROI analysis (Baseline vs. Incremental) via effective use of available retailer and internal data, third-party e-commerce tools, and SAP systems/tools to optimize trade investment strategies.
- To ensure executional excellence in company’s online activations and campaigns by leveraging on key drivers of online purchase. Maintain best-in-class brand rich product content via continual optimization of product thumbnails, banner artwork and Shop-in-Shop designs. Continuously monitor and work to improve company products’ ratings & reviews. To ensure in-stock availability, speed to market of new launches and identifying opportunities to expand SKU selection. Win in share of search with above the fold product visibility by executing on-platform SEM strategy using various sponsored advertising tools. Collaborate and coordinate with Marketing to execute traffic driving initiatives towards e-tailer platforms (e.g. FB CPAS, IG, brand CRM tools etc). Ensure in-market priorities identified by company are achieved.
- Accountable for close follow up of claims and making accruals for trade expenses in SAP system in an accurate, compliant and timely manner. Ensure disputes with retailers are followed up closely on a monthly basis.
- Render day-to-day support to line managers where necessary. Tasks include but not limited to product listings, new account creation, channel de-conflicting, project management, resolving credit issues and accruals/claims etc.

- A minimum of Bachelor’s degree
- Work experience of at least 2 years within e-commerce space (preferably in FMCG, e-tailer, or related technology background)
