**Responsibilities**: : " We are representing an established energy trading firm for an Operations Analyst position. Reporting to the Manager, this positions supports short term and long term physical and financial trading activities for energy commodities. Role responsibilities include Clearing Monitoring and reconciliation of daily clearing activities, approval of margin and invoice payments Verification of monthly exchange/clearinghouse, clearing banks, and broker invoices Issuance and reconciliation of spot exchange invoices Close collaboration and coordination with other internal support functions with regards to clearing relevant topics and company-wide finance reporting Support the implementation of new products including appropriate process documentation according to audit and compliance standards Active monitoring of market changes and regulatory initiatives as well as their impact on the clearing area OTC Derivatives Daily confirmation and settlement activities including Trade Checks between the confirmation or recap and the trading systems, as well as matching of confirmations from counterparties against internal systems Implementation of new markets and products including appropriate process documentation according to audit and compliance standards Work closely with internal and IT teams to enable the automation of confirmations as much as possible Basic Qualifications/Requirements Minimum Diploma qualification Good knowledge about exchanges and clearing processes Minimum 3 years of experience in an Operations, Settlements and Confirmation, Back-Office role, with previous experience managing either projects or processes, would be an advantage Advanced knowledge of IT software (MS Office, Endur, SAP) Benefits
