DESIGNATION : [McQuilling Energy] Commodity Broker (Korean Speaking)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide broker service to clients on Swap/futures or physical commodities in Fuel oil, Petrochemical, middle distillates products, etc;
- Interaction with traders and handle negotiations of both parties (buyer and seller) concerned;
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients and making contact with potential clients to build new business opportunities;
- Developing and maintaining a portfolio of customers’ contacts and updating changes;
- Tracking market movements, following the financial news, analyzing and understanding the behavior of trade of oil in the market;
- Visiting or meeting clients regularly face-to-face to create rapport, gather information, and understand their requirements;
- Entertaining clients for relationship building and networking;
- Arranging and facilitating the trades done and input transactions into clearing house systems such as ICE, CME, or SGX portals;
- On-boarding new clients following the correct process with the Operation Team;
- Learning and understanding the physical cargo broking of petrochemical/fuel oil/bunker products, energy swap/futures business, and how trades are made to facilitate the broking of such aforementioned products.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experienced in energy/commodities broking positions will be an advantage. Those without experience but who have a high enthusiasm and interest in building a career in the energy market are welcome to apply.
- Able to communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
- Team orientated - the ability to work effectively with others.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
- Individuals who are highly energetic, motivated, and enjoy doing sales and business development.
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English (Written/Oral) and added advantage if multi-lingua (Chinese/Japanese/Korean) to communicate effectively with Asian counterparts.
