DESIGNATION : [McQuilling Energy Brokerage Asia] Commodities Broker (Korean Speaking)

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. You shall work as a team to develop new accounts and serve existing customers on OTC swaps/derivatives products from multinational trading companies, banks, oil majors proprietary traders, and hedge funds;
2. Interaction with traders and handle negotiations of both parties (seller and buyer) concerned;
3. Assisting in developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase market share in brokerage commissions;
4. Participating in annual energy conferences to meet/interact with oil traders and Platts/Reuters/Other reporters to cultivate relationships and gather information;
5. Communicating and increasing awareness to improve the Company's profile and branding in the marketplace;
6. Conducting market research, tracking market movements, following the financial news, analyzing and understanding the behavior of the oil and gas in the market/industry;
7. Developing and maintaining a portfolio of customer contacts, and updating changes;
8. Maintaining relationships with existing clients and making contact with potential clients to develop new business prospects;
9. Visiting or meeting clients regularly face-to-face to create rapport, gather information, and understand their requirements;
10. Entertaining clients for relationship building and networking;
11. Arranging and facilitating the trades done and input transactions into clearing-house systems such as ICE, CME, or SGX portals;
12. Learning and understanding the physical cargo broking or Fuel Oil, Middle Distillates, Naphtha, Petrochemical, or Bunker products, enerswap/futures business, and how trades are made to facilitate the brokering of such aforementioned products;
13. Work closely with administrative staff to ensure quality processes for new client onboarding and complete documentation are maintained for billing, recording, and collection.

QUALIFICATIONS
- With at least a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields.
- Experienced in energy/commodities broking.
- Have at least 2 years of physical/OTC swap broking or trading/business development experience. Those without experience but who have a high enthusiastic interest in building a career in the energy market are welcome to apply.
- Have good people and relationship-building skills with traders. Added advantages if have accounts.
- Individual who is highly energetic, motivated, and enjoys doing sales and business development.
- Able to work effectively within a team and adapt to a fast pace environment.
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and added advantage if multilingual (Asian or European) in order to communicate effectively with overseas clients from Asia or European countries.
