Nokia Deepfield is a business unit that builds the IP network and subscriber analytics and DDoS security solutions that monitor and defend a majority of internet backbone networks. We produce cutting-edge research at the intersection of data science, visualization, and network analytics, and we create, deploy, and maintain the largest global network analytics platform. At Deepfield, our customers are the Internet - from content providers to global network operators. There's no shortage of data in these environments; the challenge is to turn that data into actionable information for everything from strategic business decisions to automated network operation. The biggest players in the industry are turning to Deepfield for answers.
We have been aggressively expanding into the DDoS security space, bringing a next-generation solution that uses the power of big-data in combination with the monitoring and mitigation capabilities of the modern IP network itself to eliminate DDoS attacks from IP networks, at a fraction of the cost of legacy solutions.
We are looking for a Business Development professional who is experienced in developing new business opportunities at service providers (ISPs, MSOs, Telcos, Webscale companies) and technically savvy hyperscale enterprises for IP network & subscriber analytics and DDoS security software solutions. You will utilize the breadth and depth of Nokia’s sales force to provide business development support for the APAC region. Your primary goal will be to proactively expand the footprint of Nokia Deepfield with existing Nokia customers, upselling DDoS security and subscriber analytics, and to penetrate net new accounts. It is expected that you will assist in retaining, renewing and upselling Deepfield products and services at existing Deepfield accounts by actively engaging with Nokia salespeople, as well as with customers and partners. Business development activities will be developed and executed with the support and guidance of the Deepfield and APAC Regional Business Center management teams.

- Meet or exceed predetermined sales and services quota
- Develop and manage strategy and pipeline for selling Deepfield solutions in the APAC region
- Effectively and quickly qualify or disqualify leads
- Develop an understanding of and successfully navigate the Nokia sales ecosystem
- Track and drive to close opportunities in both existing and new accounts in collaboration with Nokia sales & pre-sales teams (sales engineers and in-country IP business development teams)
- Communicate the Deepfield use cases to Nokia sales teams to develop engagement plans for their accounts
- Implement, drive and support engagement plan in key targeted accounts
- Develop and drive paths to purchase for Deepfield with the Nokia sales ecosystem and at customers
- Create and maintain strong relationships with internal leaders and teams supporting Deepfield business, including, Product Management, Technical Operations and Support, Sales Engineering, Product Engineering and Marketing
**Your skills and experience**
You have:
- Comprehensive understanding, experience and credibility within IP networking business and technologies such as capacity planning, traffic engineering, edge/backbone security (DDoS) and QoE
- Excellent knowledge of the IP networking market, strategies and offerings across the industry, including customers and competitors
- Demonstrated strong sales process to develop and drive paths to purchase
- Proven business development overlay track record
