**BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LEAD** **LOCATION**:Singapore **HIRE TYPE**:Full-time*** **EXPERIENCE**:Strong B2B experience in digital sales within large banks **VERTICAL**:eClerx Markets **Role Summary** The Business Development Lead will manage the business development activities for APAC clients. In this role, you will identify, develop, build and close new business opportunities for eClerx focused on digital for financial services. The individual should be strong in their experience selling digital transformation services to financial services institutions. He/She should also understand associated technologies for financial services and banking clients. **Key Responsibilities** In this position, you will: - Cover assigned targeted accounts and prospects to generate leads for selling Digital services to Financial Services. Typical engagements include Digital Transformation, especially around Marketing Technologies, Digital analytics, management, marketing analytics, Web Content Management, personalization, Digital Automation, Data Management, and Data lake - Identify target prospects followed by a well-defined follow-through plan to close new business - Leverage and build a regional and industry network to identify new client and sales opportunities - Initiate discussions with prospects - On a daily basis, track prospects - identify decision makers, timelines, hot buttons, and specific qualifications. - Handle day-to-day responsibility for specific existing business and new sales opportunities - Partner internally with eClerx practice domain leaders to create customized client solutions for client acquisition - Respond to new sales opportunities (from existing contacts or generated sales leads) - Understand client needs, and industry trends and develop winning proposals **Eligibility Requirements** - Prior experience in Banking, Financial services industry is required - Relevant experience in selling BPO digital operations or consulting /technology services/solutions in the Financial Markets space - Experience in sales, business development, account or relationship management roles in a B2B/B2C consulting, services, or technology-focused environment - Experience selling and building relationships at all levels of seniority from day-to-day management to "C" level contacts - Experience in short and long-term sales processes selling complex solutions to multiple contacts - Well-organized, self-motivated; a doer and closer with exceptional communication, verbal and written, and presentation skills - Applicants must have the right to work in Singapore **#LI-NP1** **About eClerx** eClerx is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
