Singapore MPA Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Full time

Lead an energetic team to shape Singapore’s global brand identity as a premier hub port and international maritime center. Drive strategic communications initiatives, positioning MPA as a thought and action leader in global maritime transformation. Build strong relationships with media, industry, and the public to bolster MPA’s communication and public engagement goals. Regularly assess the effectiveness of communication efforts through metric tracking and reporting.

The Deputy Director may be assigned to oversee the following areas of communications and community related work, depending on his/her relevant experience and competencies

**Responsibilities**
Strategic Communications:

- Conceptualize and execute MPA's communication strategy and marketing campaigns in support of MPA’s strategic objectives.

Corporate Communications:

- Develop and implement integrated communication plans.
- Create publicity materials for MPA and Maritime Singapore events and announcements.
- Manage media relations to ensure accurate and favourable coverage of MPA’s news and events.
- Handle crisis communications management.

Content & Marketing:

- Promote and elevate MPA’s corporate brand.
- Conceptualise and drive digital content development in support of MPA’s strategic objectives.
- Oversee MPA’s corporate website.
- Boost MPA's social media presence and engagement.

Community Engagement & Partnership:

- Lead public engagement efforts, collaborating with various interest groups (e.g., heritage, arts, biodiversity) to broaden public support for MPA’s objectives.
- Manage MPA’s public engagement platforms, including learning journeys, Singapore Maritime Gallery, exhibitions, programs, promoting Singapore as a global hub port and international maritime center.
- Foster public appreciation for the sea and cultivate affinity for maritime careers among students and mid-career professionals.
- 3-5years of experience in corporate communications and/or community engagement at the level of Deputy Director
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to excel under pressure.
