The APAC Equities Operations Transformation team is looking for an experienced leader and motivated individual with a strong track record to join our team. You will be responsible for managing individual regulatory projects and/or a program of regulatory projects and assigned project managers across Global Equities Operations Lines of Business’s and global locations. You will be expected to contribute to and drive the execution and strategic regulatory agenda for the Global Equities business.

**Global Equities Transformation covers the following areas**:

- Regulatory change
- Strategic system implementation / re-engineering
- New product and market expansion
- Efficiency and controls agenda
- Business process improvements across Operations, Front Office & Technology
- Client delivery & strategy

**Your Responsibilities**
- Actively manage the implementation of complex regulatory reporting obligations and oversee efforts to reengineer our existing architecture to the strategic target state.
- Partner closely with Regulatory Ops, Middle Office, Technology to understand their needs and priorities to meet regulatory change
- Engage and liaise with Legal & Compliance, regulatory project teams from other Lines of Business, central regulatory program teams and other cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard and are consistent with the firm’s regulatory reporting strategy
- Provide governance and program structure, including regular updates at all levels up to and including business executives.
- Leverage Transformation tools and infrastructure to create and maintain an inventory of project artifacts and documentation to support project governance, transparency and audit readiness
- Define and manage the scope of projects, anticipating issues and proactively devising recommending solutions; present possible solutions and necessary information for stakeholders to make an informed decision.
- Scope, elicit, analyze and document business requirements and SBEs (Specifications by Example) using a variety of techniques and tools.
- Perform business analysis on data to substantiate business problems; lead deep dives on complex problems to capture reporting deficiencies and prioritize user demands.
- Prioritize and maintain a strong control focus as part of project planning, during project execution and post project delivery.
- Ownership and delivery of your portfolio and strategic demands
- Oversee junior project managers in their respective deliverables and provide guidance and coaching to develop them.

**Qualifications / Skillsets required**:

- Minimum 8 years of relevant regulatory project experience in the Financial industry is required.
- Knowledge in Equities and Derivatives financial trading products is required
- Knowledge of Rates, Securities and FX financial trading products is highly desirable
- Knowledge of and experience in work on major global regulatory jurisdictions such as EMIR, CFTC, SEC, MiFiD II
- Experience in directly managing and motivating a team to deliver business results
- Excellent project management skills & a track record of delivery and execution
- Ability to analyze and document complex current and future state processes using BPM tools
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity to deliver business results
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues.
- Experience in working with large data sets; ability to develop clear data flows and data lineages
- Experience with data analytics; using analytics tools to evaluate large volumes of data and use it to make decisions.
