You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. Customer satisfaction of our fleet with proper maintenance with no breakdown, compliance with all safety requirement & procedure to conduct technical hand-on whether on customer site or in workshop. **What we expect from you** The responsibilities will include as below - Follow & adhere strictly to rental process & procedures in day to day activities - Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times - Responsible for rental checkout, evaluation before & after rental, periodical quality checks, service, maintenance. - Carry out installation, commissioning/decommissioning & troubleshooting at job site - Complete installation of child items / accessories in hire fleet; Implement outstanding ECB’s and maintain quality of hire fleet - Perform electrical wiring, electrical repair & troubleshooting at hire fleet equipment - Report and conduct investigation in all instances of service failure / non-conformance and recommend action to be taken to prevent reoccurrence. With approval from the manager, initiate remedial action - Ensure high quality housekeeping is maintained at all times and adhere to a clean desk policy to ensure sensitive customer paperwork is not compromised. - In conjunction with your manager, conduct / arrange ‘operator’ training and briefing in operator checks, maintenance and operating procedures and techniques for rental customer employees, appropriate to the equipment item hired - Support the Manager / Team leader / Supervisor in all aspects of business operations - Support to maintain rental fleet spare parts inventory, input & output data entry of spare parts movement - Liaison with Team members and contribute to fleet priorities & operational KPI’s and ensure maximum availability of fleet and maintain unavailability within target level - Support to maintain all job-related document files - Respond to customer inquiries relating to rental services. - Participate in the maintenance and continuous improvement of our Triple Certification systems: - Health and Safety of all employees, Customers and Contractors as priority per OHSAS 18001 - Reducing our impact upon the environment with ISO 14001 - Consistency in Quality service delivery using ISO 9001 **Knowledge / educational requirements** - Degree / Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering - With mechanical trouble shooting ability with basic electrical knowledge - Computer literacy and a self-starter with the ability to read & understand technical manuals and prepare technical/service reports - Willing to travel to any worksite/ branch on temporary job assignments within Asia. - Willing to work outdoors and overtime on ad-hoc basis when necessary - Responsible, able to maintain good customer relationship and respond to emergency and ad-hoc job assignment **Personality requirements** - A customer centric individual who understands customers’ needs and seeks to fulfill or exceed expectations - A team player and natural diplomat who interacts and unites team members, customers, all stakeholders - A methodic and structured achiever who can plan, organize, prioritize, assess, adapt and deliver the promise - A resilient person who can cope with change in an ever faster moving digital landscape and who can spread this attitude of self-sufficiency - An innovative “there is always a better way" person with a positive, flexible and responsive mindset who embraces and promotes the digital transformation (regardless of age) - Open-minded with a global mindset, curious to understand and learn new perspectives - A person who complies with our DNA => Commitment - Interaction - Innovation **Diverse by nature and inclusive by choice** Bright ideas come from all of us.
