Operations Team Lead, Production

In addition, you ensure we deliver thoughtful customer experiences at every touch point with customers & their recipients, and always strive to make a positive difference in our customers’ lives.

You will need to work closely with internal teams and external partners to create a seamless, thoughtful gifting experience at scale.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6pm. However, you should also be prepared to work on weekends and/or public holidays to support selected peak gifting seasons’ operations (eg. CNY, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, etc.).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take charge of managing flower design, inventory management & production of daily orders in the flower bouquets product line
*

- Work closely with with Flower Team and Marketing Team to plan for flower designs each month.
- In charge of inventory tracking for flower products and daily topup and coordination with flower suppliers
- Familiarise with flower prices to do flower design planning and maintaining daily records
- Managing the daily rostering and manpower of the Flower Team to ensure smooth production operations.
- Hiring part time florists for the Flower team as and when required and train them. Be able to independently prepare flower bunches as and when required.
- Assist flower suppliers on payment checking and coordination with finance team on related matters
- Receive incoming inventory everyday and ensure the Flower team conditions and segregates them for proper storage. Ensure the Flower Team is well organized by preparing pre-cut the wrapping materials, ribbons etc to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Work closely with Product Development and Sourcing Associate to monitor and maintain sufficient stock of non-flower inventory (wrapping materials, ribbons, etc) for daily and weekly production.
- Work closely within Operations team to assist with logistics operations related to daily despatch management.
- Work closely within Operations team to strategise, plan and implement measures to ensure smooth operations & deliveries, particularly during seasonal peak periods, i.e. Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas

Champion customer experience
- Be the champion of QC for production on flower bouquets to meet the high standards we wish to offer our customers for a delightful and perfect gifting experience - to every gift receiver
- Ensure QC covers minimizing errors in flower quality, wrapping mistakes, inclusion of flower food, etc
- Ensure the bouquets are of top class with perfect visual experience (ribboning & tagging)

Other responsibilities:

- Assist with other projects/tasks within the team, as and when required

YOUR ABILITIES MUST BE:

- Existing knowledge about flowers and flower design will be a huge advantage
- Highly organised, adaptive to changes & uncertainties, and loves putting processes in place to ensure everything runs like clockwork
- Ability to think quickly on one’s feet, have resourcefulness and a desire to resolve issues effectively & put everything in order
- Customer experience obsessed, taking pride in making every touchpoint a delightful experience for customers and be focussed on converting from the backend, a potentially not-so-optimal customer experience to a wow experience
- Must have a positive attitude & a strong sense of urgency, must be willing to learn, and get your hands dirty (literally)
- A love for gifting, and making people happy
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment, and as part of a very small team

- Any relevant experience in floristry / merchandising would be an advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $1,400.00 - $1,900.00 per month
