**Our client, who is an influential and award-winning restaurant group, prides itself on offering exclusive private dining and has over 20 concepts and restaurants across Singapore and overseas with more expansion in the pipeline.**

As the **Head of People & Culture**, you will be responsible for full spectrum of human resources functions including recruitment, training, development, retention, and culture formation for the company in Singapore.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As the strategic HR Business Partner, you will interact closely with the Senior Management team to support the business for the Group. This will include 5 main components:
1. Ensure the group instills and follows best in class industry HR practices to support its employees and teams. This includes but isn’t limited to:

- Develop and ensure the implementation and monitoring of HR strategy, policies, and procedures
- In conjunction with the CEO and COO, define both the operating and manpower plans; responsible for the formulation and follow up of the HR budget (OPEX & CAPEX)
- Conduct regular review of compensation and benefits to ensure market competitiveness
- Analyze local labour market, identifying the current and future needs of the business network externally to anticipate HR trends which may be relevant to the business
- Manage foreign quota and manpower levels across the group

2. Buildout the existing HR team to become a full Talent team capable of supporting the organizations talent needs
- Assess the existing team to understand strength and needs
- Define what skillsets are required within the team
- Work with the CEO to add / remove build to build out the team
- Consider outsourcing of non-core or non-differentiating capabilities

3. Create the necessary processes, capabilities, and support to empower employees to achieve their greatest potential and thereby provide the company access to the best talent in the market
- Create an employee development program for high potential talent that allows them to chart a growth trajectory through the Group
- Deploy training programs that raises the capabilities of all employees and that clearly communicates expectations for performance
- Revamp and oversee the performance management systems and reward plan, as well as employees’ benefits.
- Raise awareness and build Employer Branding through - social media, establishing relationship with educational institution and other channels
- Support the acquisition of talent and development of employees to build a robust management structure and high performing teams
- Oversee recruitment for the entire Group by helping to identify talents needs, access relevant talent sources and help prioritize talent allocation across the Group

4. Work closely with the broader leadership team to create a new and sustainable work culture for the Group and work to instill in the organization (longer term)
- Assess current organizational culture and desired end goal
- Create and implement the transformation plan
- Facilitate a positive and productive environment and foster the organizational development

5. Enable the talent team to become the bridge between employees and the organization; become the partner to the management team to build a sustainable organization by being the voice of the employees and advocate for their needs
- Ensure talent team has capacity and capabilities to become bridge
- Coach managers and employees on effective problem resolution, corrective action, and steps to maintain a positive working environment. Serve as a resource in complex employee relations situations
- Build and maintain positive and effective working relations among division employees
- Educate and coach managers regarding relevant employment laws and policies of the company
