Operations & Assistant Relationship Manager (with Gift City Oversight)

**Job Title: Operations & Relationship Manager (with GIFT City Oversight)**

Location: Singapore (with oversight of India GIFT City operations)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic professional to play a hybrid role that spans operations management, client support, vendor coordination, and oversight of the firm’s GIFT City fund structure. The individual will act as a key bridge between internal stakeholders, external vendors, and client relationship teams, ensuring seamless execution of operational processes, regulatory compliance, and high service quality to investors.

**Key Responsibilities**

Operations Management:

- Oversee day-to-day middle
- and back-office operations across fund structures, including trade settlement, cash movements, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with MAS regulations, VCC requirements, and internal control standards.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of operational deliverables.
- Support financial reporting, performance tracking, and risk monitoring frameworks.

Assistant Relationship Management:

- Assist senior Relationship Managers in servicing high-net-worth and institutional clients.
- Prepare client presentations, reports, and portfolio updates.
- Maintain CRM records and follow up on client action items.
- Coordinate onboarding and due diligence of new clients, including KYC, AML checks, and account opening documentation.
- Ensure business activities adhere to compliance, legal guidelines, internal rules, regulation & policies

Vendor Management:

- Act as primary point of contact for outsourced service providers, including fund administrators, custodians, auditors, tax advisors, and IT vendors.
- Monitor vendor deliverables against SLAs, escalating issues promptly where required.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews and participate in negotiations of contracts and renewals.
- Ensure vendor compliance with data protection, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.

GIFT City Structure Oversight:

- Manage the firm’s GIFT City entity and ensure alignment with Indian regulatory requirements (IFSC, SEBI, IFSCA).
- Coordinate with local trustees, administrators, and legal advisors to ensure smooth operations of the GIFT City fund vehicle.
- Assist in investor communication and reporting relating to GIFT City structures.
- Oversee governance frameworks, board meetings, and regulatory filings for the GIFT City entity.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; advanced qualifications (CFA, CA, MBA) advantageous.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in fund management operations, client servicing, or vendor oversight.
- Familiarity with MAS regulations, VCC structures, and cross-border fund entities (experience with GIFT City strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of operations workflows within asset management or private wealth management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across jurisdictions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to handle client interactions and vendor negotiation.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
