**Production Supervisor**:
**Overview**:
Responsible for the production delivery, quality, costs and productivity. Coordinate the day-to-day activities with a team of production workers to ensure that manufacturing operations run according to established production specifications and schedules. Analyse production reports so that performance problems can be identified and resolved.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan and organizes manpower and equipment to maximize productivity to meet production targets, included redeployment and OT management
- Lead the Prism team. Works closely with supporting departments to help Production Manager/Assistant Production Manager meet key KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory & Productivity). Absorption targets included
- Ensures Good documentation (GDP) is followed within the production
- Maintain work area 5S & safety
- Lead & mentor to run the DM of SQDIP and Build Plan at Gemba
- Manage, coach, and develop a high performing team. (Cell Leads included)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross functions to ensure optimal performance (Create Best Team Wins culture)
- Induct new hire and conducts performance appraisal for employees and is responsible for making decision on termination, promotion, upgrading etc.
- Develops and implements training programs to improve performance of employees. Ensures employees training compliance.
- Lead & resolve material issues (quality or availability) with the respective engineers and buyers.
- Work with engineers to drive and resolve the daily top quality issues.
- Ensure continuous improvement culture to improve workmanship standards. Lead continuous improvement projects such as Standard Work (SW) to improve on productivity, output, and quality.
- Comply and adhere to the regulatory/company Quality & EHS requirement.
- Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production problems
- Review build plan to make decision on resource deployment, inventory requirements, and work closely with Planner to meet the sale orders
- Analyze Prism operations issues and recommend corrective/preventive actions and Lead Quality Improvement project.
**Requirements**:
- Min degree in any Engineering, Manufacturing, or any equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 2-5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience or equivalent, with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice
- Proficient in MS Office
- Language proficiency in English and Chinese (need to communicate with Chinese speaking associates)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
- Preferably with Lean Manufacturing experience in a low volume high mix environment.
- Analytical thinker, proactive, flexible in their approach to work.
- Understand basic Bill of Materials (BOM) structure
- Data Analytics skills
