Job Summary:
The Alliance Operations Manager - Singapore will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure world class operational support of SHI Singapore Solutions Pte Ltd. The purpose of this position will be to uphold and enhance customer satisfaction as we expand our Singapore capabilities. The Alliance Operations Manager requires extensive knowledge of SHI, its department functions, tools, processes, and Corporate Standards to coordinate SHI Singapore’s operations.
The responsibilities reach from office management to representing SHI Singapore with our distribution and partner eco-system, acting as a facilitator and liaison for internal departments such as sales, inside sales, marketing, office operations, sales support, training, purchasing, and accounting.
The role will be based in our Singapore office and reports into the Regional Director of Asia Pacific.

**Responsibilities**:
Including but not limited to;
- Oversee Singapore’s Operations and making recommendations for business process improvements
- Office management including ensuring implementation of and alignment with SHI standard operational processes
- Business Compliance oversight (local Singapore directives/policies), and coordination with HQ compliance, risk and resilience, and business continuity teams
- Operational liaison with other relevant SHI departments - both at headquarters and global subsidiaries
- Assist with onboarding training and coaching of Inside Sales new hires, advising on best practices
- Positioning and representation of SHI in Singapore with local Strategic Partners (Vendors and Distribution) including but not limited to attending meetings, networking events and attending QBRs
- Work with the Partner Alliances team in the US and Internationally and the Global Programs team for the onboarding and management of local reseller partner programmes and the coordination with approved supply chains
- Work with the Global Partner Program team to drive operational improvements, such as colocation warehouse implementation and/or enhanced supply chain automation via supplier EDI integrations
- Coordinate with SHI Sales and Sales Support teams in support of business opportunities
- Provide Senior Management with reports to analyse buying trends for relevant customer/vendor/suppliers
- Main day/day contact for Vendor and Distribution Account Managers
- Partner and Distribution Portal administration
- Liaising with international purchasing and international accounting to resolve local supplier, OEM or customer escalations
- Monitoring SLAs, track progress, including coordinating the definition and reporting of the KPIs
- Singapore On-Site Point of contact for sales team operations issues
Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of successful sales, operational, partner experience in the IT reseller industry
- Experience in Microsoft Office products
- Proven Customer Service focus
- Proven Operational expertise
- Proven Project management with strategic direction
**Required Skills**:
- Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
- Strong cross-functional leadership/management and motivational skills
- Strong problem-solving, presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
- Ability to understand and keep up to date on international trade issues
- Ability to understand and train on international sourcing, compliance and logistics processes
- Ability to maintain and expand partner base by identifying new opportunities, counselling internal resources and building rapport with vendor partners.
- Ability to work collaboratively with SHI department leaders both at HQ and internationally.
