To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accounts, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide - making the impossible happen every single day.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an Allocator to deliver the daily receipt plan and new season load-ins to our fleet of Nike Direct Stores across multiple countries in Southeast Asia and India (SEA&I). We are looking for someone who is a team player and can operate in a fast-paced environment to execute the projected sales and promotions plans. Our team is key to managing the optimal product flow into store to increase consumer demand and maximize in-stock rates across our fleet. We work in a fast-paced environment to ensure our stores have the right stock, at the right time and right place and in the right depth.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you'll be working with the Nike Direct planning team, Store teams, Marketplace Operations, Logistics as well as Supply and Inventory partners across the Nike SEA & I business.
A typical day/week includes delivering on the sales and inventory plans by receipting product into stores to maximize sales and mitigate risks caused by over and under capacity. You will produce and analyze weekly trade reports to identify gaps and opportunities to drive actions. You will always have a lens on the flow of aged inventory in store to ensure a healthy and clean marketplace. You will partner with your direct team on weekly and seasonal deliverables. This will entail planning receipts in line with key consumer moments and promotions with the Merchandise Financial Planner and Location Planner. You will collaborate to ensure that product flows into store as planned to maintain healthy inventory in store. You will be a critical partner in developing and elevating Allocation processes by working with a broad team across other Nike territories and our head office. Building a strong partnership with cross functional teams in the Distribution Centre and Marketplace Operations team will be important in driving success.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This role reports into the Director of In-Season Optimization and works closely with other Allocators on the team.. This role will build a strong partnership with cross functional teams including partnering with the Merchandise Financial Planner, Location Planner, Distribution Centre Marketplace Operations and the broader team across other Nike territories and our head office.
WHAT YOU BRING
You will need to have the following skills to be successful in this role.
- Significant experience in a similar planning or allocator role for a large retailer for 1-2 years
- Preferably hold a university degree in Business Management and Administration, Supply chain, Economics, or a related discipline
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills and confidence to engage with multiple cross functional teams.
- Confidence in using Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge in Excel.
- Highly proficient in English.
