Singapore EASTSPRING INVESTMENTS (SINGAPORE) LIMITED Full time

**THE CANDIDATE**

This position is mainly responsible for managing finance related projects across Asia who is a strong believer in change, providing oversight and advisory on internal control policies and procedures for local finance teams and supporting the Head of Regional Finance on any initiatives that may arise.

Finance Projects:

- Responsible for both strategic project and tactical project implementations, including but not limited to, requirement gathering, liaison with vendors, status tracking and UAT.
- Responsible for driving technology improvement across finance to improve efficiency for the finance function, e.g.:

- Ability to validate the “as is” and design the “to be” processes based on the business requirements and the Finance target operating model.
- Responsible for managing finance user engagements across the region. Being the SME for Eastspring Finance and a key liaison between Prudential project team and Eastspring finance whenever there is finance project rolled out by Prudential. Responsible for financial modelling development for project or strategic initiative evaluation, such as new investment strategy setup, enter into new markets, M&A. Being actively involved in Enterprise data platform development project to ensure Finance requirements are fully implemented.

Internal Control Policies and Procedures:

- Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining robust and effective internal control policies and procedures for finance functions.
- Champion for internal policy and procedure enhancements from effectiveness and efficiency perspective.
- Prepare and support country finance teams for review by Group Internal Audit

Other Roles & Responsibilities:

- Supporting fee split and transfer pricing matters.
- Responsible for the finance operations of one Eastspring entity which provides ancillary services to the other Eastspring entities.
- Provide support or oversight to the local finance teams as and when necessary.
- Assist in any ad hoc requests that may arise.

**THE CANDIDATE**
- Degree in Banking, Finance or Accountancy preferred.
- At least 15 years of working experience with at least 5 years in the finance function of Asset Management industry or in audit from Big 4. Experienced in Transformational Project, Change Management and Target Operating Model design is essential in order to be able to drive large scale finance transformation projects.
- Hands-on and at the same time willing to explore using new technology to improve the process.
- Technology savvy, e.g. able to carry out data modelling with PowerBI, would be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as in project teams which are likely to be cross-functional.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate analytical basis and conclusions with stakeholders.
- Strong written and communication skills in English is a must.
- Good in MS Office tools, i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
