We are working with one of the largest real estate investment managers in the world, focused on acquiring, developing and managing office, residential, life science and logistics/industrial properties.

Due to their expansion across the region they are looking to add a Finance Director to cover APAC markets based in Singapore.

**Responsibilities**:
The Finance Director will supervise the activities of the accounting, finance and other administrative

professionals in their day-to-day responsibilities and professional development. They will oversee the overall alignment of the accounting function with specific business strategies and objectives including the timeliness, accuracy, responsiveness, technical compliance and efficiency of the reporting functions.
- Establish a strong hands-on working knowledge of the accounting software and systems to include all month-end processes and journal entries.
- Supervise accounting staff at some point.
- Prepare corporate month-end financials.
- Review monthly property financials, account reconciliations and account analysis
- Prepare financial analysis as requested.
- Work with external auditors to ensure financial statements are in compliance with company policy.
- Assist with new property acquisitions and property dispositions.
- Preparation and review of fund financial statements and of budgets.
- Act as a liaison with independent auditors and tax accountants, including the coordination and review of year-end audits, tax returns, tax reporting and interim procedures.
- Timely completion of fund investor requests including side letter requirements, audit confirmations, tax estimates, etc.
- Preparation of capital call and distribution notices.
- Assistance with special projects, as directed by CFO.

**Experience**
- Degree in Accounting; postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline is an advantage.
- Prior experience with management and oversight of teams.
- 10+ years of experience public/private accounting experience in real estate.
- The ability to build relationships and engage with a variety of teams and stakeholders across all teams.
- A strong self-starter who is well organised with strong project management skills and a demonstrable proactive and personable approach.
- Strong communication skills.
- Team management skills and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel
