**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Job purpose**

The Customer Service Officer shall report directly to the Customer Service Assistant Manager or Team Lead & be an integral member of the Customer Service Order Processing Team.

He/she will be expected to be a team player, work efficiently with the office colleagues & adhere to the best practices of the company to achieve excellence in his/her work within the department’s KPIs to enable business success.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Able to handle the department’s administrative scopes & customers’ enquiries/feedback.
- Answer calls effectively, promptly process down orders accurately & timely in accordance to the cut-off schedules.
- Able to organize customers’ weekly standing orders & fresh indents with the procurement team accordingly.
- Liaise with customer or salesperson on all no stock situation & offer alternatives for consideration as well as butcher production limitations.
- Communicate well & handle customers’ follow-ups in a professional level.
- Manning or relief of reception & customer pick-up counter when required.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Levels or its equivalent
- Able to handle calls, keyboard typing & basic PC usage knowledge.
- Able to speak, read & write English.
- Proficiency in a second language like Chinese, Malay, Japanese, et-cetera, will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge on usage of SAP system will be good but not necessary as training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Skillset, Word, Excel, Power-point.
- Related foodservice experience in the F&B industry will be an advantage.
- Quick thinking and handling of situations in a creative setting and a fast-paced environment where each day brings new challenges and rewards.
- Commercially astute & sensitive when representing the company’s good namesake.
- Able to liaise with other departmental & operational staff to address &/or solve any issues that may arise on its daily basis.
