**About the job**:Our client is a reputable and international energy trading firm hiring for an experienced HR Business Partner who will be the key point of contact coordinating between the offices across the APAC. Reporting to the Global Head of HR, you will cover the full spectrum of HR for Asia including Singapore and China.

The HR Business Partner will ensure each office’s alignment to the Global HR strategies and business goals including Compensation & Benefits, People & Organisational Development and Talent Attraction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and manage relationships with business stakeholders in order the gain an in-depth understanding of their needs and expectations and provide expertise from HR perspective in day-to-day operational and high level strategic matters
- Support the development and implementation of regional HR strategy according to the standards and practices of each country including training and development, succession planning, compensation modelling, talent acquisition, retention and restructuring
- Identify gaps and propose HR solutions. Drive the implementation and adaptation of new and ongoing improvements of HR systems, processes, policies across the region
- Proactively keep up to date with legal standards, practices and requirements across the region pertaining to daily management of employees
- Provide leadership to the local HR team and be the key point of contact for all HR matters in the region

**Your powerful skills**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other related disciplines
- At least 8 years of experience as an HR Generalist/Business Partner in a fast-paced, commercial environment
- At least 4 years of experience in a regional role with knowledge in employment laws and employee relations in Asia Pacific Region.
- Experience with north east Asia countries (China, Korea, Japan) is highly preferred.
- Professional fluency in business English and in Mandarin to liaise with internal stakeholders.
