**Role Description**
- The Head of Finance is results-driven to improve the organization's financial performance and direct the accounting operations, responsible for the consolidation and reporting of group finance activities from HQ to all of Asia and beyond, managing the finance operations, management accounting, budgeting, internal controls, audit exercises, policy reviews and financial matters relating to the company to drive income. The role will drive business review, budget and forecast discussions with CEO, CFO and MD and enhancing retail capabilities and efficiencies across all sites. The incumbent will provide financial insights to support decision making and support in treasury, capital management and fund sourcing, driving process improvements in the overall group finance organization to streamline and improve existing structure. The incumbent is a strategic business partner to the CFO, challenging and debating business ideas and strategies to help develop the business regionally, challenge the status quo across the businesses, ensuring that decisions are well founded and providing a constructive counterbalance to strategic ideas, support the CEO, CFO, MD and Board of Directors in the development and articulation of corporate strategy and providing the financial input required, ensure that the financial controls and understanding are robust for the growth and change in the business, provide strong support to the regional operating team on performance and advice on improvements and managing the operating budgetary control processes, which ensure sites budgets are consistent with the Company.

**Role Requirements**
- Degree in Accountancy and a Chartered Accountant with Postgraduate qualification.
- Minimum 12 years of accounting and finance experience with at least 5 years in managerial capacity
- Experience in finance in the retail industry.
- Good knowledge and understanding of tax legislation.
- Good knowledge of Singapore Reporting Standards, Companies Act and other accounting regulatory requirements is highly essential.
- Knowledge and experience with internal control documentation.
- Excellent communication skills are a must for this role as is the ability to manage your time effectively and efficiently.
- Hands on approach, ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external parties.
- Well versed in MS Excel and spreadsheet techniques with exceptional numerical proficiency and experienced in financial modelling.
- Hands-on, analytical, meticulous, strong in processes and financial concept, problem solver.
- Possess a positive attitude, good leadership skills, interpersonal communication skills, independent and a team player.
