**Main Responsibilities and Tasks**
- Ensure that the Offices and Fleet Vetting are meeting the requirements of industry standards such as TMSA, SIRE, CDI, and Rightship.
- Collaborate with the Marine/HSEQ teams to address significant issues, such as vessel rejections, rejected Vetting Responses, technical holds, and the outcome of oil company TMSA/management reviews.
- Develop initiatives to improve the Rightship ratings of vessels in all offices and improve the DOC score of all offices.
- Identify and suggest improvements for the SMS in relation to DBMS & TMSA to enhance ratings in both standards.
- Propose suggestions to Marine Managers on analysis and corrective actions for Vetting Observations. Conduct Annual Reviews of the Company’s TMSA/DBMS Declarations with the Marine Managers to promote improvement initiatives and best practices.
- Establish and maintain liaison relationships with external vetting bodies. Participate in incident investigations as instructed by GHSEQ, as well as contribute to DC Committee reviews as instructed by the Manager.
- Support GHSEQ in projects/development initiatives and assist in preparing Reports as directed by the Manager. Also, assist in training newly recruited Marine Managers and Superintendents.

- Initiative to develop work and take on additional responsibility.
- Customer satisfaction especially courteous behaviour, competent appearance and demonstrating concerns for customer needs.

**Requirements**:

- Maritime qualifications as Master with seagoing experience of at least 1 year as Master on Ocean-Going Vessels.
- Previous Experience as Marine Assurance or HSEQ Manager.
- Good command of oral and written English.
- Will be base in Malaysia
- Environmentally focused with good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills to develop close relationships with shipboard staff, vessel owners, charterers as well as internal and external support functions.
- Preferably with Lead Auditor qualification.
