Assistant Director, Development Fund

Summary
- Overseeing and managing the organisation’s community fund (Conceptualisation and implementation of fundraising programme / activities)
- Establishing new programmes to meet current needs
- Marketing and administration of the fund; responsible for its accounting and financial management

**The Challenges:
- Supporting healthcare related and community enabling programs (Substantial donations and/ or community partnerships)
- Supporting the funding of patient care initiatives (Training and research activities and programs)
- Supporting the funding of collaborative efforts with partners and stakeholders in the primary, acute and step-down care sectors
- Leading the Marketing and Communications aspects of fundraising
- Conceptualising and managing new programmes to deliver the Fund’s objectives
- Overseeing the financial administration of the Development Fund Office
- Reviewing and developing policies and processes
- Planning, driving and managing quality improvement projects at Organisational/ Departmental level

**What it Takes**:

- Min. Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communications, Business Administration, Public Administration or any other related discipline.
- Preferably with healthcare and/or fundraising experience
- Min. 6 - 8 years relevant experience with strong knowledge of financial/accounting or experience in dealing with legal matters/ policies
