The Training & Competency (T&C) Team oversees the competencies and due diligence monitoring of the sales processes and supervisory duties of our tied sales force, including providing shared services to the IAG set-up. Reporting to the Head of Distribution Talent Centre and led by a Team Lead, the T&C Team is responsible for driving good practices, establishing standards, and collaborating with IAG management to ensure that the IAG sales force meets the required expectations by company and industry standards in the following key areas:
**Responsibilities**:
(a) Uphold the sales advisory process expectations:

- Upkeep the sales advisory process expectations by regulatory requirements and company needs.
- Ensure sales advisory process guide, sales process documentation and training materials are kept up-to-date
- (b) Enforce specified Training & Competence (T&C) regime by performing field-based inspections and policy enforcement, monitoring of fulfilment of requirements:

- Conduct thematic sales documentation and supervisory duties checks prepare audit findings, reports and management update
- Monitoring of CPD hours, mandatory training, and performance of supervisory dutiesImplement initiatives, monitoring processes and conduct constant reviews to improve the competency standards of supervisors and advisors
- Conducting reviews on sales documentation and supervisory duties
- Conducting regular replacement of policy activities
- Preparing audit reports and management updates and managing data and conducting trend analysis

(d) Undertake projects and execute activities assigned to a team

**Requirements**:
1. At least a diploma and above. Degree preferred.
2. At least 5 years experience in training and competence/compliance audit in the Financial Services industry
3. Preferably have experience working in a licensed financial adviser set-up
4. Knowledge and experience in sales processes of life and health insurance, unit trusts, securities
5. Good knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines eg. FAA, SFA, LIA MUs & MCs, GI would be an advantage
6. Possess the relevant licensing examinations: CMFAS Module 5, 8, 8A, 9, 9A, and Certificate in Health Insurance; or equivalents
7. Professional qualification in AFC, AFP, ChFC, etc would be an advantage
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
9. Good verbal and written communication skills
10. Good interpersonal skill
