Roles Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities

1. Identify and source for more potential business partners and maintain strong business relationships with them through regular visits, meetings and business reviews. Liaise with them and negotiate when necessary on contract terms and conditions. Developing new business relationships and maintaining existing ones with suppliers to ensure adequate supply of products

2. Ensure all products are stored properly in order to reduce spoilage or damage of products. Monitor quality and expiration, organise and maintain inventory. Make suggestions for continuous improvements based on understanding the purchasing habits of customers, then anticipate demand and acquire new products when necessary.

3. Determine consumer demand and purchasing habits, potential sales volumes and the various effect of competitor's operations on sales. Keep updated on market trends to determine the needs for improvements and products to order.

4. Prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts, and other financial reports in order to control the budget for minimum expenditure and maximum efficiency. Monitor product sales and inventory levels and do a review on sales reports on a regular basis to identify opportunities for inventory turnover or markdowns.
