**ROLE SUMMARY & PROFILE**

**Overview**

Financial Markets delivers a broad range of products to ING's corporate and institutional client base as well as to other ING businesses including the retail network. ING’s Financial Markets division provides clients access to the major financial markets in developed and emerging countries, with specialists in Debt & Loan Capital Markets, Sales and Trading across all asset classes - Foreign Exchange, Rates, Credit, Equity Derivatives and Commodities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for distribution of all loan-based products to Asian investors - single loans, loan portfolios, credit-linked loans & securities, securitizations, future-flow partnerships, and other formats. This implies you will need to understand different distribution formats and will need to collaborate with teams in other regions to increase cross-border dialogue and distribution.
- Manage investor relationships; help increase overall volume of loan-based products, and expand distribution base spanning banks, insurers, asset managers, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, and other non-bank financial institutions across APAC.
- Generate deep knowledge of investors’ needs and preference across asset characteristics and price hurdles, to be shared with internal stakeholders including Sectors and Lending teams to optimize the origination and portfolio management. Allocation of individual key investor accounts and facilitate increased dialogue, cultivate relationships, and develop reverse enquiries with these accounts.
- Participate in full sales cycle for primary and secondary loan transactions. For primary, this includes soundings, roadshows, invitations and bookrunning, Q&A and documentation in order to successfully convert investors to commitments and bring ING down to our target hold. For secondary, this includes managing reverse inquiries, investor clearance, execution, Q&A and post-trade service.
- Act as dedicated sector or product point of contact for specific sector(s), understanding ING’s origination capabilities, client base and distribution requirements in that sector. Advise Sectors and Lending teams on disreputability and pricing of assets, based on knowledge and detailed mapping of investor appetite.
- Close and seamless cooperation with stakeholders (Structuring teams, Loan Capital Markets and Global Balance Sheet Distribution, Sectors, CPG, Loan Trading, FI Sales Origination, Financial Institutions). Facilitate direct client contact where required while maintaining oversight and overview of the overall client relation.
- Attend client and industry events to position ING as Distribution bank and keep informed of key trends,
- Facilitate / Maintain investor KYC/CDD requirements per ING standards.

**Person Specifications**

**Key Competencies**
- Degree holder, preferably Master’s, and in Finance, Accounting Business or Economics
- Experience in investor-facing environment by way of previous internships
- Effective team player, and helps others be successful
- Highly motivated, positive attitude, and willingness to learn every day in a continuous changing global environment with high client expectations
- Clear communication skills (written / verbal)
- Ability to multitask, handle and support across all sectors within ING from a distributions perspective
- Eye for high quality and integrity standards
