**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Sales Director of the Distribution Team, the Sales Manager (Distribution) will be responsible for selling products or services through our distribution channel. The role will involve developing and executing sales strategies, working with the sales team, building relationships with distributors, analyzing market trends, and creating and managing sales budgets and forecasts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute sales strategies for distribution channels to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
- Work with the sales team to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively sell products or services through the distribution channel.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors and key stakeholders in the distribution channel to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities for growth within the distribution channel.
- Create and manage sales budgets and forecasts to ensure that the distribution channel is profitable and operating within financial targets.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, with sales director, and market trends to the management.
- Collaborate with other departments such as operations, procurement finance, and marketing to ensure that the distribution strategy is aligned with overall business objectives. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends in the distribution channel.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in working in a sales environment, and achieving sales targets.
- Preferred Experience in the distribution channel, preferably in the marine communications industry, and in Asia markets such as Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market trends and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Experience in managing budgets and forecasting sales targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve overall business objectives. Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and emerging trends in the distribution channel.
