Associate Director, Distribution Enablement

**Role summary**:
We are looking for an ambitious individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our Commercial team. The individual will have a positive and friendly attitude with three primary areas of responsibilities: (1) managing business enablement initiatives to further Olea’s distribution capabilities; (2) driving sales discipline and coordination among origination and distribution teams; and (3) supporting end-to-end execution of distribution opportunities.

**Responsibilities**:
(1) Managing distribution-related business enablement initiatives
- Project manage initiatives to further Olea’s distribution capabilities
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Digital Solutions, Risk & Compliance, Data & Technology, and others to deliver these initiatives
- Support continuous improvement of Olea's systems and tools e.g., MIS, CRM, Investor Portal
- Contribute to improving Olea’s commercial and control/ governance framework especially as it relates to investors and distribution

(2) Driving sales discipline and coordination among Distribution and Origination teams
- Ensure marketing materials produced by the Origination team are of high-quality with appropriate details by anticipating potential investor concerns
- Support development of marketing materials to engage investors with insightful conversations
- Drive originate-to-distribution sales discipline by actively managing pipelines, trackers, and collaboration
- Ensure investor data and engagement are diligently recorded on Olea’s systems
- Contribute to development of Olea’s distribution strategy expandinto new segments and geographies

(3) Supporting end-to-end execution of distribution opportunities
- Support deal execution including due diligence, tech/ operational setup, and mutual onboarding
- Coordinate investors’ due diligence processes and respond to questionnaires by delivering knowledge from various Olea teams
- Keep track of execution traction/ sales process by diligently updating appropriate trackers/ CRM
- Activate and execute closed deals on the Olea Portal
- Manages the post sales process and act as the key go to person for post transaction queries

**Role specific technical competencies**:

- Strong track record of cross-functional project management
- Strategic mindset with solid business sense
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Highly articulate in verbal and written communication and to-the-point presentations
- Technical knowledge in Trade Finance, especially in SCF and open account trade
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRMs

**Qualifications (training, licences, memberships, and certifications)**:

- Bachelor or master’s degree in Business, Finance or equivalent is required; MBA preferred
- Background in investment banking and/ or management consulting preferred, with exposure to investor sales/ sales management, middle office and operations
- 4 - 5 years of experience in a similar capacity i.e., trade finance distribution/ syndication
- Demonstrated ability to own new business initiatives with confidence and a sense of urgency
- Comfortable to face challenges and see them as an opportunity to learn, grow, and innovate
- Strong motivation to join a fintech
