We are currently looking for an Events Executive to support the planning and execution of events for Padang’s corporate, government and ecosystem partners. As part of the Events team, you will deliver great end-to-end event experiences for our community of entrepreneurs; professionals from diverse fields; academics and researchers, and more. This includes virtual and hybrid events.

**Your key responsibilities**

Assist and support the Padang Events Lead in:

- Executing virtual, hybrid and physical events, including (but not limited to) discussion panels, pitch/demo days, workshops, hackathons, etc. (Note: For virtual or hybrid events, this could entail setting up and operating the online event platform, such as Zoom.)
- Planning and managing these events, from scheduling the event, programming the content (where appropriate), managing guests and attendees, sourcing for and setting up the venue, managing the logistics, etc.
- Managing internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining a list of vendors and event-related contacts, and obtaining quotes from them when required

- Ability to think on your feet and effectively solve problems that arise during events
- A curious mind and genuine interest in the content of the events and what the companies does
- Ability to embrace new ideas and technologies

Most of our events are conducted during office hours. But you should be prepared to work outside office hours and on weekends, as required to execute events.

**Attributes that we love to see in you**
- Good English writing and grammar skills
- Ideally, experience in using Zoom webinar or other event platforms
- Experience in the events industry or in a similar environment, with some experience with event planning and execution; that means you are likely to have at least one year of work experience

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $3,600.00 per year
