Facilitator for Museum Tour

**Job Scope**
- Facilitators are to conduct the tour in English with the Gallery’s Google Classroom to access programme content and updates from the Gallery.
- Facilitators must be familiar with the Gallery, including the building history, permanent and special exhibitions.
- Facilitators must be familiar with all thematic trails and artworks featured in the programme.
- Facilitators must be familiar with inquiry-based learning approach such as Visual Thinking Routines.
- Facilitators must have good communication skills and provide positive affirmation to students’ responses.
- Facilitators must be able to engage students in close observation and visual analysis of artworks in-front-of the authentic artworks or using artwork images.
**Qualification Requirement**
- Professional qualifications: minimum of a diploma in a relevant art form and industry experience.
- Teaching experience: (i) relevant teaching experience in local schools of at least 2 years in relevant art form or student profile; or (ii) relevant teaching/guiding experience in local museums of at least 5 years in relevant student profile.
- Pedagogical expertise: (i) Diploma/Degree/Masters/PhD in Education or teaching; or (ii) pedagogical certification such as (but not limited to) NAC-NIE Essentials of Teaching and Learning or SDEA Drama Pedagogy; or (iii) extensive track record in teaching their specialised field of art (minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in local schools).
- Facilitation and/or Guiding Experience: relevant facilitation and/or guiding experience in local muse
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $300.00 - $1,200.00 per month
Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
