Singapore Plain Vanilla Bakery Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for consolidating and maintaining the recipe database.
- Create and manage in-house Product Quality Assurance Audit programme.
- Conduct R&D for all B2B, Wedding, Seasonal pastries and create new recipes based on feedback from the directors.
- Assist on Product shoot for new pastry products.
- Train pastry team on recipe, methodology and techniques for new products.
- Train store and sales team to understand and be able to communicate information regarding our new products to customers.
- Create recipes for marketing platforms (e.g. Blog).
- Work with the operations team to plan the execution of new products.
- Responsible for costing and product pricing proposals.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.

**Requirements**:

- He/She has a good knowledge and strong interest in Pastry.
- Good communication skills and leadership qualities.
- Willing to work at Headquarters Office (Outram) and Central Kitchen (Pandan Loop).

In a world of mass-produced confections, we wanted to go back to basics and bake like our mums and grandmothers used to - moist red velvet cupcakes topped with vanilla buttercream, apple pound cake drizzled with caramel, decadent chocolate brownies, warm and fudgey on the inside. The kind of scents, flavours, and textures that make us nostalgic for days gone by.
