**Position Description**:
Manages the training function to develop and implement quality training programs that support company objectives. Directs staff in the design and administration of training programs to train all levels of personnel. Keeps abreast of training and development research, new materials, methods and techniques. Develop programs and practices to identify developmental needs including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments.
**Core responsibilities include**:
- Reporting into the Strategy team - this position can be performed remotely from across the region
- Establish a strategy for learning in the region that will drive impact and growth for the business.
- Be the strategic business partner for Supply Chain capability building in the region.
- Collaborate and influence business leaders to deliver best in class learning experiences.
- Build close partnerships with stakeholders to understand regional nuances and ensure an agile approach to building solutions in a complex environment.
- Design and develop learning solutions at scale that are aligned to business strategies.
- Drive post-learning analysis and measurement/survey reviews to determine if further action is required to deepen learning experience and impact.
- Partner with L&D Learning council to identify future focused learning technology and interventions.
- Create a governance strategy in the region to ensure learning content and solutions are in line with business needs.
- Create future focused measurement strategies linked to business KPIs.
- Establish a strong external focus in order to anticipate future learning trends
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into tangible execution.
- Ability to ruthlessly prioritize learning that meets the business need and drives value
- Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity and agility in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders simultaneously and self-manage priorities with competing demands.
- Ability to quickly absorb organizational nuances and needs.
- Ability to build relationships with teams across units and geographies, adjusting style where appropriate.
- Develop measurement strategies to understand impact of learning for both the participant and the organization.
**Qualifications** Required Competencies**:
- A minimum of an Undergraduate Degree
- Minimum 10-12 years of relevant work experience
- A minimum of 5 years business related work experience, leading complex programs in a highly matrixed work environment
