This position carries 2 roles

In the regional role, the incumbent is responsible for supporting the definition and implementation of various supply chain strategies across APAC countries with full ownership of supply chain including manufacturing teams which cover material planning, inventory level/service level optimization and purchasing, sourcing and vendor development, manufacturing excellence and warehouse & logistics, that will underpin the growth of the business in APAC region thru a matrix organization.

In the local role, the incumbent is responsible to manage all aspects of SCM operations ensuring high service level to the LAP customers as a Strategic Distribution Entity of LAPP Group for APAC

1. Local SCM Operations
- Manage and lead a team of managers and executives responsible various SCM operations (Purchasing Planning, Sourcing, WH & Logistics and Supplier Quality) in Singapore
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team of manager in managing budgets and tactical operational decision
- Covering for Sourcing Manager (SVM), developed new vendors to supply to the group at competitive prices, with high quality products and volumes
- Establish and measure respective KPIs as per LOS scorecard, supporting local team in reaching the objectives and targets set
- Identify potential employees for further development and ensure a pipeline of good employees are available for succession

2. Regional Supply Chain
- Implementing various inventory strategy and initiatives, expanding inventory portfolio in Singapore that will transform LAP into a Strategic Distribution Entity (SDE)
- Drive and improvise various regional supply chain optimizing (RSO) program (mainly Inventory and freight) that is currently running to achieve lowest total cost of ownership and improve profitability as a region.
- Drive continuous SIOP process with distribution partners (customers) to improve the service level and high inventory availability from Singapore warehouse, with an optimized inventory level
- Own, monitor and control regional inventory level and total freight contribution rate thru monthly Inventory Effectiveness Reporting, with particular focus on drag inventory reduction across APAC
- Develop the lead-buyer organization thru possibly a matrix model for sourcing and vendor management in APAC, strengthening vendor base with qualified supplier to support business growth
- Working closely with other counter-parts develop a business case to set-up 2nd DC in APAC region
- Support the build up of manufacturing capabilities in China from a 40% to 60% make ratio
- Drive the Manufacturing Excellence and LOS 2.0 program within APAC

3. Strategy
- Working closely with CTO to develop smart supply chain within APAC with robust and efficient processes and intensive digitalization of end-to-end supply chain that includes, accurate demand forecasting, procure-to-pay automation and make-buy decision
